Ilemela Parish Rehabilitation NGO

Dear Brothers and Sisters in Jesus Christ I humbly greet you.

The Ilemela Parish Church building located in Mwanza Tanzania is falling apart. As you can see from some of the church building photos the walls are rotten and have significant cracks. The roof has decomposed and the roofing timbers are crumbling. The roof is also leaking when it rains. It is scary and not safe to worship in this collapsing building. The church building therefore needs a full reconstruction.

Our short term goal is to rehabilitate the church building to serve at least 1000 people. Our long term goal is to upgrade the Rectory well enough to accommodate at least six priests, build effective offices for Parish Priests, Makatekista and lay people who help Priests in running the Parish and build a descent Parish hall for meetings and youth affairs.
